Copywriter and Editor

Position Overview

We’re in search of a full-time remote copywriter / editor that can produce compelling written content for a variety of products, services and industries. This person must be able to produce and deliver client-ready work, while adhering to deadlines across client accounts. They must also exhibit a deep understanding of the inbound marketing methodology to attract, engage and convert readers with the content they create.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft and upload content for weekly / biweekly publishing across client accounts. 
  • Edit copy for style, grammar, logic, flow and repetition. 
  • Ensure all copy (blog / website) is on-brand with client’s tone and voice. 
  • Develop premium content pieces to coincide with quarterly campaigns, as well as corresponding assets such as landing pages, emails, workflows, etc. as needed. 
  • Coordinate with freelancers / vendors as needed (i.e. copy, imagery, etc.).
  • Conduct in-depth research to learn new industries and subjects as needed.
  • Sit in weekly / biweekly calls to better understand client industries, partners, etc. as needed.


Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. 
  • 2+ years experience in copywriting and editing for marketing purposes and/or related fields including public relations. Experience writing / editing copy about e-commerce / marketing fulfillment and logistics is preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience working with HubSpot or other marketing automation software. 
  • Ability to write, edit and proofread written materials for quality and adherence to appropriate writing style. Understanding of AP Style is preferred. 
  • Ability to research topics, and include references and citations. 
  • Demonstrable experience creating, promoting and evaluating content marketing campaigns. 
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of clients and their industries, and play a meaningful role in the retention and growth of accounts.
  • Reliable, detailed, focused and proficient in time management. 
  • Excels at building and nurturing relationships with clients and coworkers.

Outbound Sales Rep

Position Overview

If we were looking for a run-of-the-mill outbound sales rep, we’d post something trite, such as: MarComm is looking for an experienced outbound sales rep with a track record of success.  Run-of-the-mill isn’t MarComm’s style, and we’re looking for a relationship builder that can effectively articulate the value of MarComm to prospects. If you’re a polished, tactful and first-class outbound sales rep that knows how to talk the talk and walk the walk when it comes to selling digital marketing services, you belong at MarComm.

Responsibilities:

  • Outreach, qualify, pitch and close new business opportunities.
  • Maintain ownership and comprehensive knowledge of your accounts and opportunities.
  • Prioritize opportunities and accounts to reach and exceed KPI targets. 
  • Stay on top of the latest digital marketing trends to proactively share with your clients.  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the digital marketing team to develop sales tools and marketing collateral. 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business from an accredited college or university. 
  • 5+ years of digital marketing sales experience. 
  • Top-tier understanding of outbound sales. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing. 
  • Comfortable working in Hubspot, specifically writing and building sequences.

Junior Digital Marketing Intern

Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time, remote Junior Digital Marketing Intern to work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to own the implementation of the outlined client strategy from start to finish and ensure it gets done; while also looking out for new opportunities for our clients. If you’re a self-starter with a can-do attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves approach, apply for this position! Responsibilities:

  • Perform market research on channel and industry trends to help inform digital marketing strategies for clients. 
  • Assist in executing project requirements and concepts by ensuring the right resources are allocated to each project. 
  • Work closely with team members to successfully lead and execute digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Ensure tasks are distributed among the right people. 
  • Assist with client communications, including weekly agendas, updates and recaps.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate on company and client goals that support growth – new ideas are always welcome. 
  • Look for areas to improve efficiencies for projects and tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Studying marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Graphic Designer and Video Specialist Intern

Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time, remote Graphic Design Intern with an emphasis on Video Editing and/or Motion Graphics to assist in creating engaging designs and videos according to project-specific requirements. You will work with and be mentored by our Sr. Design Manager to produce high-quality work to support cross-functioning teams. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you're passionate about design, like to be challenged and are eager to learn, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to create impactful designs that support client initiatives.

  • To assist in executing project requirements and concepts.
  • Collaborate with team members to launch projects.
  • Take on special design tasks (e.g. photo editing, social media graphics and video reels).
  • Use feedback from our Sr. Design Manager to improve your skills and design process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools, and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Work closely with our Sr. Design Manager on various projects ranging from social media and blog post graphics to web page mockups, social media video reels, and much more. 
  • Participate in daily touchdown meetings and breakout sessions.
  • Source assets for assigned projects.
  • Work on assigned projects and identify streamlined design processes.
  • Participate in design reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Studying web design, interactive media, or similar field of study is preferred. 
  • Experience with design software and graphics editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects or Premiere Pro).
  • Creative, strategic mindset to partner in the delivery of captivating and meaningful designs, videos, etc. 
  • Experience with collaborating/executing marketing campaigns is a plus.

Social Media Manager

Position Overview

We’re in search of a social media manager with a proven track record for planning, implementing and monitoring social media strategies that build online communities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the existing social media strategy and identify areas of improvement. 
  • Design and implement social media strategy that aligns with client goals and objectives, and builds their online communities. 
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content for 3+ client accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok. 
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries and monitor customer reviews across the platforms listed above. 
  • Collaborate with copywriters and designers to implement strategy and vision (ex: designing a LinkedIn cover photo, posting an Instagram story, etc.) 
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement. 
  • Report on monthly and quarterly social media performance. 
  • Identify new social media technologies and trends to consider.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing or a related field.  
  • Proven work experience as a social media manager. 2+ years minimum required. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok. 
  • Ability to write, edit and proofread written materials for quality and adherence to appropriate writing style.
